April at a Glance

We've had a few days of great weather so we have quite a few pictures at parks.

Chelsea

Lauren and Chelsea (lovely high wires, don't you think?)

Chelsea on her favorite part of the park

Or maybe this is her favorite...

Devon and Chelsea

Chelsea is looking at Devon thinking about going through his legs down the slide. He can always get a genuine smile out of her.

Devon and Chelsea

Chelsea and her friend, Tessa at the zoo park

Chelsea

Chelsea spent several minutes running from the camera then thought it would be funny to get as close as she could.

Chelsea

The next few pictures are of Thunder Over Louisville, not many pictures, but you can tell it was HOT and you can tell it was CROWDED and you can tell that we were there for a LONG time since the sun is shining in some pictures and it is dark in others. As always it was worth the hassle.

Carter

The gang

Chelsea and Bruce

Lauren cooling off in the shade

Bruce and Chelsea

Chelsea spent the whole day spraying herself to stay cool

Carter had other ideas...he stayed under this blanket so he could see his DS screen without the sun shining on it. Eventually we talked him into putting the blanket over the umbrella so he woudn't suffocate.

Chelsea and Lauren

Chelsea loves her bubbles

Happy Easter! Devon, Lauren, Chelsea and Carter

Lauren and Chelsea

Devon may kill me for putting this picture on the blog. He had to wear this sombrero for his 5th grade band concert.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

These are just about all the pictures I have for March. It was a slow picture taking month in the Wardell house.

Lauren made this puppet in school

When I went in to check on the boys on St. Patrick's Day morning to make sure they were getting ready for school this is what I found...A leprechaun trap...The sucker hangs from the top luring the leprechaun in...as the sucker is pulled down the lid lifts and attaches to the tape at the top of the box and the rest is history...

The kids didn't find any leprechauns in their trap after school, but they found a leprechaun mess and a few "treasures"
