When the Dream Was Still Alive

Bruce took Devon and Carter to a Cubs game in Cincinnati. This was back when it looked like the Cubs were actually going to be good enough to make it to the World Series. Oh well!!!
I'm not sure why I'm even putting these pictures in my blog. I am trying to catch up and this is part of what happened in September. It's kind of sad to see how excited the boys were.

Bruce and Lauren

This picture needs no explanation. I just thought it was cute.

Fun During Hometeaching

Lauren finally found a way to entertain herself while our hometeachers are at our house. (not that they aren't totally entertaining themselves :)) It makes it much more fun if you can find a willing participant to make the fun last that much longer. Chelsea was more than happy to offer herself as a project for Lauren.

Visitors from Utah

Grandma and Grandpa Bridges and Aunt Kelly (Tiff's sister), Uncle Jeff and Carson all came for a visit this summer. Here are a few pictures of our time together. Better late than never, right???

Kelly, Carson and Jeff at Louisville Zoo

Devon asked recently if Grandpa Bridges is always joking around. What do you think???

Grandma Bridges and the kids

Chelsea had Grandma read to her every morning. It was their routine.

Grandma and Grandpa with the kids outside Spaghetti Factory (the child you may not recognize is Carson, Kelly's son)

Lauren being Grandma. I'd say there's quite a resemblance.

Pictures in the Park

We "recently" took the kids to a park and tried to get some pictures taken. Here are some of the better ones. (with exception to this first one) Rather than smile at the person behind the camera Chelsea mimicked them.

Happy Birthday Lauren!!!

Lauren finally lost that tooth that has been dangling for weeks. She "pulled" it out with her tongue. That's how loose it was. She turned six on Tuesday and now looks the part.
I promised some of you that I would add to my blog this week so this is just a tease for now. I will attempt to spend more time updating this weekend, but I have learned as a mother to say "maybe" and never promise anything. At least now you don't have to see the beautiful Huber Farms sign each time you check my blog.
