Umbrellas and a Guitar

Lauren and Chelsea finally got to use their matching umbrellas in actual rain. Chelsea went all out with rain boots while Lauren is hoping it's a passing thing and her flipflops will do.
Devon finished his 12 weeks of guitar lessons. Here is the only proof we have that he ever played. We have a million pictures of him lying on the ground doing nothing when he is just days old, but this is all we could manage to come up with for his first guitar "recital". (he may not like me to call it that) At least we remembered the camera.

Totally random pictures, I know. This is my attempt to stay up to date for Mom and Dad. It's kind of hard when you have no pictures to stay up to date with. Pinewood Derby is coming up on Saturday. That should make for some thrilling shots. ;)

Spring Break

Holly and Dave and their family came to visit the first weekend of Spring Break. We can honestly say that we wish they had stayed longer. What an awesome family!!! We went downtown to the Shedd Aquarium for the day. (Dave escaped this picture to act as camera man)

Devon went fishing several times during Spring Break at the lake in our neighborhood. This catch was enough for Carter to race home and get Bruce to bring the camera.

Bruce thought he had put the ab-roller out of the way. Chelsea thought he put it in the perfect place to use it. (yes, we have an ab-roller)

Catching Up

Now that I've spent so long downloading all these pictures I have no time left to write anything. Most of the pictures are self explanatory, but I'll get back on later to label some of them. I don't want to save this as a draft then have Mom and Dad ask yet again when I'm going to update my blog. :) Enjoy this completely random selection of pictures. Once again, I have realized that I have tons of pictures of Chelsea and hardly any of Devon. Maybe I should go out front with my camera right now and have him pose with all the boys who are playing basketball. He would LOVE that!

EVERYONE stayed up until midnight this New Years. Here is our proof.

Chelsea always plays with her hair when she's nervous or excited. Looking through all the pictures of this visit with Santa, I'm not sure which she was this day. She looks pretty content and not too nervous in this one.

I had never seen this picture until now. I have no clue when or why Chelsea was dressed in Bruce's clothes shaving, but I'm assuming Bruce took the picture and not one of the kids. Let's hope this isn't what they do when Devon is babysitting.
